Fellow Toastmasters and the most welcome guests! We had such a wonderful meeting on Feb 8th. We had 31 people including 5 guests. The opening remark was held by our president, Al. He briefly mentioned about the club competition that is coming up on Feb 22rd. (Anybody who is eligible and interested in parcipating, please let us know!)

The table topic master was Cathe and she did such an excellent job by asking the parcitipants the questions regarding special events such as Super Tuesday.

The prepared speeches were presented by three speakers, Sang-Hee, Michiko and Julian. Sang-Hee gave her #2 speech about “how to escape from fire.” She started with the strong opening in coorporating her personal experience of escaping from fire. Her speech consisted with a very good organization. The next speaker was Michiko, who just finished her #10 speech! She inspired us with the theme “take a risk, you live only once.” She used one of the influential figures in history in convincing her theme. Congratulations, Michiko for achieving the goal to advance your speech skill.

Our final speaker was Julian who gave a speech about evaluation. The speech is from successful club serious and he provided us with knowledge of evalution. Although we could not use the power point, Julian did an excellent job! Thank you all for making the meeting successful and hope to see you next week.
